These boots are made for Walking!

This week the weather was so nice, we went outside almost everyday!! YAY!! I am clapping for joy!!
I like to look for the perfect rock, taste it, then either give it to Sydney or throw it in the flowers. Can you believe my Mommy lets me sit in rocks, we always wash our hands and feet when we come in, I like that too.
This day we went for a walk when we got back, I wanted to push the stroller...Hey Mommy get inside!

I have found Mommy's shoes and I am bringing them to her for a walk. I even got the matching ones to my outfit!

This day we played with bubbles!! Actually I like to taste them more than watch them.

It takes such concentration!

Since I am growing too fast (Mommy's words) we had to go do a little fall shopping for some shoes. So I put on my big bow and off we went.

Is that Mimi I see?

We found some shoes but boy was that tiring...I need to rest a while!

On of the pairs we got were these rain/snow boots- they are turq with a white dog on them. I loved them in the store and even better when we got home. I needed to test them out! Yes, that is my bouncy seat, I still like to sit in it...

Sunday I needed to try my boots our again. These boots are made for walking...I think they may have replaced my silver shoes as my favs.Sunday afternoon we went to a baby shower. Here I am getting some outside time when we got home. I like to stand on the concrete UK stones at the door.

I also like to rock!

I can even go up the stairs without much help!!

I still am not sure about this grass and tree business, I may be more of a city sidewalk girl.

Here I am playing with my purse and making a fish face!

And that is how you get out of going to Daycare!

I got sick at Daycare on Monday so I stayed with Poppy all week. You see, my new teacher was on vacation this week- I don't think I like the other one quit as much....so I got myself a fever and sore throat and got to stay home all week, and that is how you get our of Daycare!! I did have a fun week- don't tell Mommy but:
  • Poppy took me on walks- more than one a day sometimes
  • I got to sleep in the big bed
  • I had ice cream for lunch
  • And I rode around the circle sitting in the boat.

Of course there are no pictures because "what happens at Poppy's stays at Poppy's" I have my blanket, bunny and paci and ready to go. Oh I was bow less all week, Mommy has discovered some "vintage" hair barrettes, you know the plastic ones from the 80's....don't worry there was a bow in my bad - just in case we had to go out!

Since I was feeling better by the weekend, we went out to eat. Mommy felt the need to really gussie me up b/c we hadn't been anywhere all week.

We went to Tribeca and I tried my first chip- I wasn't all that impressed but I did like the mess they made.

And Sunday...here I am ready for church we were running late so only a quick pic.

I am feeling much better now, ready for Daycare on Monday. I think my teacher will be back!!

Theme Week

I started my new class this week, so far so good. I am still adjusting but I am learning so much more. Occasionally at school they will have a theme day, well this week there was a theme everyday. We missed Monday because I played hookie Friday so Mommy didn't see the sign. But we caught up on Tuesday- it was dress like your favorite athlete...well UK Cheerleader of course- here I am!! Go CATS!!Every afternoon we go outside and I like to pick up rocks- notice I am UK front to back! My prize today!!

Daddy was home so we decided to pose - I guess he was doing theme day too.

Wednesday was Mismatch Day....we did not participate in that one. As hard as she tried my Mommy just couldn't send me in mismatched clothes, just wasn't in her.. But we picked back up on Thursday for Hat Day. Oh I also like to rock in the rockers when we get home, just relaxing on the porch.

Here I am modeling my Hat Day attire. You know that wasn't hard to find a hat in my closet.

I also got some new kicks, in my new class we go outside and play so I needed some closed toe shoes. Pink plaid of course, can't get any better than that!

Friday was Pajama Day, I wanted to wear my Lady Bug ones but Mommy insisted on these, they look more like an outfit. This day was hard for her too. Don't worry I don't wear a bow to bed.

Yeah for the weekend, and yeah for going to town. We did just a little shopping on Saturday so I got to get all fancy in my crab outfit. Remember Mommy made this, she was inspired by seeing it again. Look out!

You know it has to be Sunday cause I am sitting in the chair. Still working on wearing all my white and seersucker before Labor Day!

I ususually start out in church but end up in the nursery. So it was today but today there was this toy, a pink stick and everyone wanted it but I had it!!

I needed a drink but I couldn't put the stick down so Mimi held my sippy...I have her wrapped too.Notice I still have the stick, I just know Alex is wanting it but its mine!!

I am a "Toddler"!!

On Thursday at school Mommy found out I will be moving to the Toddler Class- wow I am getting big. She was real nervous about it, I was excited. Here I am practicing my ball skills. Everytime I kick it the thing rolls!! Ms Patti brought me back this outfit all the way from FL. She loves frogs and she knows I do too. Notice I am holding Wee Cottontail- looks like I have been hunting.
Every girl has their favorite pair of shoes, these are mine. I LOVE them- I like to wear them with all the time whether I am strolling around the house or going out. The fun part is that they are silver and they go with everything, even my PJs!! Mommy is so excited that I picked silver sparkle shoes for my favs- something about like Mother, like Daughter..

I also like to knock on the door.

But I never think that anyone is going to open it!!

This weekend we had some visitors- Grandpa Charlie came, here we are walking outside. I was showing him Sydney's chain.

Hot, Sunny day, better get out my hat and halter. We went to Patti's this weekend, just to visit the shops, Mommy and Daddy don't think I am ready for the Pork Chop yet. As always I had to pose for pictures.

Here I am posing with Mommy. I know my greens don't match!!

After they finally let me out of my stroller I went prissing to my favorite spot, the playground.I had to stop to smell the flowers on my way though.
I am thinking I might could swing in this- but where is the back??

I finally let Grandpa Charlie hold me, if only for a quick picture.

Sunday!! Here I am in my chair. Don't worry my other leg is just under my dress. This weekend I broke out the flowers instead of bows. Got to keep people guessing.

I have a car to rid e and a Lion to push but Sunday afternoon I decided I wanted to ride the Lion, who cares if there isn't a place to sit...

After such a big weekend I really didn't want to go to school Monday...here I am after breakfast- I just wanted "five more minutes" in bed before I got dressed.

My new class was great!! I didn't cry at all in fact I was excited to get out of the car when we got there and went right in and sat with my peeps around the table in a big girl chair. I even laid down for a nap- I got up after 15 minutes but I laid right back down and slept. I can't wait to go again tomorrow.

Here I am playing kick ball!!
