Easter is Hopping!

This is Easter week so I ahve been in full swing wearing my bunnies. Cottontail really fits in this time of year. Thursday Ms Pat sent me a present. Here is my face when I saw Mimi pulling up in the driveway! I do love my Mimi.

And here is my Easter present. There were eggs stuffed with goodies. AWESOME!! My new word!

Saturday we went to see some live Bunnies and get my picture made with them. Here is the dress I wore- those bunnies were so wild..one even bite my finger. I did love them though! And Sunday morning before church the Easter Bunny brought me a basket. I don't know how he can hop around with such a big basket.

There were all kinds of goodies, pajamas, a movie, blue bunny, big girl panties and eggs filled with dinosaurs.

Fun Fun!

Then we had to get ready for church to go learn about the true meaning of Easter. The resurrection! It is all about new beginnings, therefore a new Easter dress.

Complete with lacy socks, big bow and smocking!! Bring one the white shoes!!

Zoo and Easter Egg Hunt

We were supposed to go to the zoo on Friday but Thunderstorms kept us home. We did end up going to see a movie instead and eating popcorn...yummy. But Saturday came and it was still cold. Since Mommy had made me a cute zoo outfit, she was determined we would go. Although you can not see my cute zoo outfit because it was so cold we needed coats and hats.

Good thing I had this leopard coat and hat Mommy bought for next season...who knew you would need it in April.Uncle Brandon came to see us at the zoo too. You can kind of get a glimpse of my pants here. My favorite things were the flamingos and elephants. I wanted to go see the elephants as soon as we got there. The flamingos were funny...they kept "putting they heads under the water". Oh we also saw a Tiger pooping. That was real memorable.

Since it was chilly all the animals were out and the crowd was not.
Oh what a difference a day makes. This afternoon after church we hunted for eggs. Again with a special outfit but I had to wear a sweater to cover it up. At first I only wanted to pick up the blue eggs. Then I wanted to make sure there was candy in them before I put them in my basket. Hey no use in getting empty eggs. But then Mommy told me Mariah was going to get them all and I speeded up.Here I am with the competition.
And this is what I won when I found the silver egg. Yummy!!

Our Date!

Monday we went to gymnastics and found out they were closed for Spring Break so instead of ice cream we had cupcakes. There is a little bakery beside Parcell's and they have the cutest cupcakes! I chose the one with the worms. Saturday Daddy had to work so Mommy and I had a little play date. We started by going down the river to walk around.
We were really careful not to get to close to the water. The river is dangerous!

Then we walked up the street to get a cup of ice cream...yummy!! With sprinkles of course!
Next we went to Noble park, that is a treat because we are rarely in town in play clothes. They have some great bumpy slides.
And a fun "gridge"! I liked hopping across the bridge and looking for ducks. We didn't get to feed them like we do at Mike Miller park but they were still pretty.
After all that playing we decided to get a little dinner...so we went for pizza. I was even able to handle drinking out of a cup with no lid. After pizza it was Mommy's turn to pick so we walked around TJ Maxx for a while. We had a fun afternoon and did all my favorite things.
Sunday before church with my cottontail dress on- we had to check out my house before we left.

Sad day for Big Blue Nation!

This was a good basketball weekend. In preparation for Saturday nights game Mommy and I went to the park and of course I was sporting my UK pride. Even though they lost the game it was a great season for my CATS! On to football! We have been saving bread to feed the ducks. We always do that first. Last time the ducks weren't that hunger....
Not the case this week...they must have been starving.
They all swarmed around and one of them bite my bag. I couldn't get the bread out fast enough. I think Mommy was getting a little nervous at how close they kept getting. Especially the one with the big red beak who was breathing really hard.
We survived the duck attack and played with bubbles and the on the playground.

It was so bright on Sunday I needed my shades. Don't I look very fabulous!
