Ice Cream Ice Cream

When Mommy was growing up occasionally she would hear the sound of high pitched music coming from a distance, this signaled the ice cream truck- so she and all her neighborhood buddies would run home to get money in the hopes the ice cream truck would make it around the circle. It was very exciting. Fast forward to today- I went home with Mimi and Poppy after church and lunch so Mommy could run to Walmart- as she came around the corner up the hill - what did she see, the ice cream truck- she whipped into the driveway- and went running inside, not for money but for the camera...I am so glad Mommy got to see the ice cream truck and me too. After much deliberation we decided on a push up- thanks ice cream man for the wonderful suggestion. I wasn't real sure about how this thing worked and I really wasn't keen on Mommy taking it from me to open the wrapper...but when she did...Boy or Boy- this thing is GOOD!!
I mean REAL GOOD!! Why in the world have you not given this to me before..When Mommy tried to take it from me to push it up- I spoke a new word..."Mine"- no sharing this treat!

Here I am eating my push up- again can't figure out how to make it right side up.

Wurth Farms 2009

Saturday we went to Wurth Farms for a little fall fun. We didn't go last year because I was sick so Mommy was bound and determined to take me this year. And you know I have a pumpkin hat for the occasion. Doesn't this remind you of a "Sadie Hawkins" dance picture..Of course Mommy posed me on anything she thought would make a cute picture.Me and Daddy.Me and Mommy. I was very preoccupied by all the big tractors and hay trailers. This place definitely has a lot to see.We also found a petting zoo, I am getting pretty good at these lately.Ahh a bunny, wonder if this is the same one I posed with at Easter?Feeding the Goat, they told us to make sure and keep our hands wide open so they wouldn't bite us. You will notice there aren't any pictures of Mommy feeding the animals- she is such a "farm girl" you know. What happened to the food...that llama ate it- he had crazy eyes.
Hey look a pig- I think my pig costume is way cuter.

Next we went on the hayride out to the pumpkin patch. I loved waving at everyone on the way. I think I see the pumpkins.

Daddy and me in the pumpkin patch.

Me and Mommy in the pumpkin patch. She said she found the perfect pumpkin.

Forget pumpkins, I found a candy wrapper.
I was very determined at the pumpkin patch, I walked quickly from the front to the back without stopping to look at any pumpkins- I wanted to make sure I didn't miss any. I worked my way up from the back.

I think I like this one, but I don't know, so many to choose from.

A girl can never make up her mind.

Hum, this pumpkin makes a good seat. Finally this is the pumpkin I ended up with- it is so big..

Bye Bye pumpkin patch- see you next year.

I sure did work up an appetite picking out a pumpkin- this caramel apple sundae will sure hit the spot.

Fall Festival

This week I went to the Fall Festival at school- they had it last year and I went but I was really too little to enjoy it, but not this year. Daddy meet Mommy and Mimi there. I loved the petting zoo. The donkey and the Llama were my favorites. I wasn't scared at all.

This llama had really ugly teeth and I think Mimi was more scared than me.

They also had train rides which was really fun- I rode twice, once with Mimi and once with Mommy- I was so still the whole time.

We also played games, this is me throwing the football.- Watch out Mike Hartline...
In my class, we got to pick a duck- this is one of my teacher- Ms Gina. I kind of wanted to play in the water.

After you picked a duck you got a sticker- Ms Sharon was helping me decide. She put on on my dress, but I put it back..didn't match you know...
On Thursday I had an ear check which meant I got to leave school early and stay with Poppy. While I was doing a little discovery I found some treasures in Mimi's closet. It was some of Mommy's old toys- Strawberry Shortcake dolls she said, and can you believe they still smell.

Watch out Bailey these are all mine.

First Annual Fall Party and Trip to Lexington

This week we have been "on the road again". We all went to Lexington for the Cron Fall Party, that was Mommy's roommate in college. Before then I continue to wear my Halloween attire. Here is a shirt Mommy made me..it is scary!! We also had a visitor this week, Daddy's friend Matt came to visit. This is the first time I have meet him- he doesn't come this way much from California. If you want to know the truth I was a lot more interested in his dog Katie.

Speaking of dogs, I have been helping with chores this week. Everyday when we get home the first thing I do is get out Sydney's dog food. It may take me a while but I get it done.

Mommy brought me a present this week. A new pettiskirt. I know the shirt and bow do not match- we are still working on the complete outfit.

Saturday is here and we are getting ready to leave. Saturday also means football! You know I have to dress appropriately- now this outfit does not say UK but I am sure you know my now who I am supporting. This may be my lucky outfit because the CATS won today...

After a long drive we settled into our room and I had to do some redecorating. Those Kleenex were too hard to resist right at my level.

After a little clean up we were on our way to Kim's. Mommy and I posed before we left- we were the three little pigs.

Here is the whole family, the 3 little pigs and the big bad wolf. Ok so we had to sneak out the side door of the hotel...
When we got there we found an angel, two devils and a priest.
A quick solo pic and I am on the go again.

Did you see that devil, I think I better get away from her
Here it is two besties and their girls. Kim and Maggie and Me and Mommy.

Of all the party goers, this was my favorite, Charlie. I LOVED him, I had to giggle at him whenever I saw him. I wasn't scared a bit, even though he is taller than me. He is dressed like his family in the devil costume.

Of course you know I would have to have two outfits. After I had snorted around a while as a pig, Mommy changed me into my jammies. Then I could really move!!

So Maggie, where do you think we should go to college, Transy or UK???Ok so who is this girl "Trying to be our friend?, I am not sharing my chap stick with her"
Good night Maggie- see ya next year!
