It's too Hot...

It's been too hot to do much of anything and I am a very busy little girl, between stopping off to see Mimi and Poppy and just happening to eat dinner over there, and church and gymnastics- I am always on the go. But we do have to do some things outside, like water the flowers.Mommy waters and I try to get in the water. Then I like to pick the flowers- hey why do we water them if we can't pick a few.Sometimes the yard needs to be mowed too- Daddy doesn't do it so they are training me how early. I actually like going out "mowing the flowers".

But it is hard work and sometimes the mower runs out of juice, that would be bubble solution.

We also went to my favorite place, Gatti's to eat pizza. And look what Daddy caught, a dinosaur. I LOVE dinosaurs!! I wanted to get another.

Then off to church on Sunday. I am holding one of my favorite books- "Digger, where is your bone?" but I call it Tigger.

Then after church I had a little more mowing to do. The mower was a birthday present, I guess at 2 you really like Mowers for your birthday!

Then I got grass in my shoe.

I guess these aren't for yard work.
I better go and clean the "dirt" off my foot. A girl can't go around with dirty feet you know!

Father's Day

It has been hot this week so our flowers have needed some watering. First let me say..I LOVE WATER! I don't really care that I have on my good clothes and big bow, I want to get it all over me. Mommy made this outfit and we call it "Plain Jane"- well it is not plain but that is the name of the line of material, there you have it. She figured if she was going to make something out of the "Plain Jane" material she better get going. It is very hard for me to water and not spill some on myself.

I really don't mind spilling water on myself, I usually end up dumping it out because I am too impatient to wait for it to come out of those little holes.

After we are finished I have to then pick the flowers, I don't know why Mommy doesn't want me to pick all the pretties off??

I really had to twist his arm...but Poppy took me fishing again this week.

It was much hotter than previous weeks.

My favorite things about going to the lake: touching the fish, Poppy going fast, Mommy bouncing and watching Mommy's ponytail blow around.

This week there were all kinds of "Cigar Boats" in the water. They go really fast and they are really bright - both of which I like.

This was my attempt at a before church picture. It is hot and the sun is on the front porch in the mornings so I need another spot. Mommy said this was her favorite dress, I think she changes every week.

And since it was Father's Day I took the opportunity to tell Daddy that it might be his day but I am still the boss..Got it! We had lunch at home with Mimi and Poppy after church. I decided I would rather watch Goofy than eat- so while they ate I watched my show...I did take a break for dessert...ice cream...Yummy!

After church we did have an chance to get a good picture of me and Daddy. Oh and Tail of course, can't forget Tail.

Busy Week

Whoo, this has been a busy week. Seem like I have had something to do everyday. It has also been a hot week, I am so glad I have lots of cool summer things to wear. Do you remember the crab outfit from last year, well it made it's appearance again. I also started gymnastics this week, Mommy didn't get any pictures because she was too busy helping me tumble. I really loved running around and jumping on the trampoline. Don't worry I had a special outfit... Along with an animal print one too.

Thursday we had a Luau at school. Mommy went into action and this is what she came up with.Luckily she found the skirt and Lia at Walmart and just had to make a halter.

You may wonder if I mind wearing such elaborate things, not so much!! I am really used to it by now. The only thing I didn't like was the Lai, but I kept it on for a little while.

And by the end of the day my flower was broken, but who cares I have lots more flowers!Sunday it was "burning up"- my new phrase!! Don't know where I have heard that?? So we did our traditional picture inside.
While Mommy was getting her camera I had to get my sunglasses and hat.

And then my bag...because I wanted to go "fishin"...boy Poppy has sure spoiled me already! I think I may be a little overdressed for the lake....

2 year pictures

I had my 2 year pictures made the day after my birthday, here are the favorites. I did better than the Christmas pictures, this time I thought Jeff at JNash was funny!!

Playing Outside!!

Since the weather is warmer I have been playing outside more. Memorial Day we went to Mike Miller park and I played on the playground. And looked at the ducks.Then when we got home Mommy was potting and watering ferns and this is what I was doing.

I love water and the hose isn't attached all the way so it creates a fun sprinkler affect.

It is so fun to be all wet!

We also had a doctor appt this week. My ears were fine but it allowed me to spend the remaining of the day with Poppy. Now that was fun!
Saturday Mommy and I did a little shopping. Flower in my hair and a tutu on, I am ready to go find some deals.

And of course we went fishing again...

This is called getting really up close and personal with the fish.

Notice Mommy is not in any of the pictures. She says she has to be the picture taker, but I know the real reason...she really doesn't want to get that close to the fish.

Goofy likes to ride fast too.

This playhouse is a lot of work.

I am usually always dressed girly, but sometimes I don't sit lady like.
