A Potato Chip????

On Thursday at CDC we had a Luau!  I wanted to make sure I had the appropriate attire.  Mommy loves this day every year!!!

 Out came the fabric and patterns and here you go...a Hawaiian dancer in training!!

 I have also been doing swim lessons this week, I can actually swim by myself, only I go under a lot.  I can't figure out to use one arm at a time.  I do like it though and keep wanting to swim by myself!!  Oh here is one of my bathing suits, too cute not to get a photo of this one!!

 We went to a birthday party on Saturday...yes another one.  I think that will be the last for a while, the whole birthday gang is another year older.  I wanted Mommy to take my picture before we left.

 Can you see my nose?  Here is how the story goes, At daycare I scratched it with a potato chip, then I rubbed it really hard with a wet rag and made a burn.  By the way wet rags are the cure all at daycare, they make even the worst injury better!!

Busy Little Girl!

We had a really busy week and weekend.  I started my week gymnastics, then I had a birthday party on Tuesday night, swim lessons on Wed and Thurs and then on Friday I had another birthday party to go to.  Now you would think the weekend would slow down, not really.  I went with Mommy to breakfast with Dianne and Keli, to a picnic for Mommy's 20th high school reunion, then to a visitation, back home for Mommy to get ready for her High School reuion...I got to spend the night with Mimi!!

So....since I was making an appearance at the reunion picnic, what better excuse for Mommy to make me an  outfit.  Here is it...Not a great pic though.

 Then church dress picture, after church, we worked on Daddy's lunch, then we went to Venture River!  We actually meet one of Mommy's friends Brooke and her boys.  Now I haven't been to Venture River but you will be sure I will be going back!  I loved it all!  I giggled the whole way down the only slide I was tall enough to ride!!  Then we had to do it again, and again, and again!!

Dance Recital

My first dance recital was on Tuesday night!  This is me and Mariah!

 We are best buddies most of the time, we take gymnastics, dance and go to church together!

 Whew...what a week.  I even had a dr appt this week.
I weigh 34 lbs and am 40 inches tall.  I am exactly average on the growth chart!!  Everything else looked perfect.  The only bad thing was 3 shots...not prepared for that one.  I just didn't understand why I got shots and Mommy didn't!
And here I am before church with my "kids" named, Sad Cottontail, Mad Cottontail, and UP Ears.  They all three travel with us where we go!

Getting Ready...

Mommy has made me a few outfits for the summer, she made this one way back in the winter.  And finally it was warm enough to wear it and actually I am now tall enough.  The pants were too long the first time she tried it on me.

 Often outside this summer I have encountered Bees...I am not a fan!

 It seems that there are more than usual this year.

 Now on Sunday after church I had my first dance recital rehersal!  Here I am with Mariah waiting for our turn, we really do like each other.

 Finally our turn.  Now if you have followed me you will know that for 2 months I have been on a dancing break shall we say.  I have refused to dance on my own.  In class the teachers, Ms Kim or Ms Kristan will stand behind me and move my arms, or they will hold me.  BUT for the last couple of weeks I have had a break through, I have been dancing and liking it.  I actually did some moves on stage, didn't cry or cling to anyone!!!  Yay for me!!  I might be a dancer yet!!!  Mommy, don't give away those tutu's yet :)
