Preschool!!

I started preschool this week! I was so excited to carry my red bag into school and put it in the basket. And of course I had a shirt for the occasion. "Preschool Rocks!!" I also started my dance class for the fall.

I have been taking all summer, but I could wear anything.

For fall we have to have pink or black leotard, pink tights, ballet shoes and tap shoes and a bag to keep my shoes in. The bag goes on a hook in class and I change from tap shoes to ballet shoes during class. Mommy made this one for class. I have another dance backpack to carry all my clothes and shoe bag to class though.

So far I like the tap shoes the best!! I have been "cha, cha, cha'ing" all weekend long!
After dance we always get a treat, I ALWAYS pick the blue sucker or popsicle and I ALWAYS have to sit on this bike rack to eat it!

After a busy week, I needed a little relaxation. To the lake we went!!


I do have to do a little work, like moving this cooler so I can have a seat. Hopefully we can fill this cooler full of fish.

I really like holding the pole "by myself" and don't really like it very much when Poppy tries to "help".

It was a perfect lake day and I caught 3 fish!

I even got to drive! Crazy that you can't drive a car until 16 but can drive a boat at 3!!!

Now anyone that knows me, knows my Poppy is a fisherman. They also know that my Mommy isn't so much- well neither is my Daddy until this weekend. It was the first, maybe second time he had ever been in Poppy's boat. After catching a few little ones he caught his first large mouth bass.
So here is Daddy's big fish! Daddy had to throw it back because that is the rule!

Luckily we caught enough for dinner that night! Yummy!!

Lots of Changes coming up!

We had revival church this week, one of our former ministers came back to preach. He is the minister that married my Mommy and Daddy. This is one night before we left for church. It made for a really long week, but I LOVE church so I was more than willing to stay back in the nursery.

We also had preschool orientation this week. I will be starting on Tuesday. Tonight the kids got to play while the parents got oriented. I really liked the new room.

It is on the other side of the building from where I go to daycare. I will go to daycare before and after my preschool class and some of the same friends will also be with me. I was the last to leave...I really do think I am going to like this!

Saturday Mommy and I went to the park, then for lunch and ice cream. On our way home Mimi said Poppy was at the lake, so a quick phone call and a quick change into boating attire and off we went to do a little fishing.

As soon as we got stopped I asked Poppy "where is my fishing pole?" Apparently he didn't have one for me yet. After asking a million times he let me fish with his. I caught 2 fish!!! This is my first one!
Mommy tried to help but I insisted on doing it "by myself". I got pretty good at reeling in the line. Poppy doesn't think I need my own pole, he thinks I should learn on one of his..."because those push buttons don't catch any fish".

Monday was the first day of my new class. I moved to Ms Mary's room and all my friend's were there. This is the first time I have moved to a different room and I didn't cry!! I really am having a good time in there. I thought maybe for the move I needed to wear something cheerful and special- Mommy made this for me last year. And she made this for me this year. Notice the color scheme...I think I see a pattern here. I have decided that it is necessary for Cottontail to wear bows too. We were on our way to Walmart and SHE had to get her bows on before we left.

I was wearing a flower Mommy made, I really wanted to wear a bow but when I looked in the mirror I decided this would do.

Sunday was so sunny I couldn't get my porch picture so I am in the door way. Notice Cottaintail's blue bow!

The studio I have had all my pictures taken is closing so Jeff was getting rid of all his stuff. He had this photo hanging in the studio, Mommy went down and got it for our house....My reaction: "Ann Marie is not wearing any clothes!!!"

Pool Time for the Super Hero!

This is a photo to remind everyone that I am three!!! I have past the terrible two's and now am in the full blown- "terrific threes"!!

This week at school we had super kid day and we were supposed to wear super hero shirts. Now we do not do "super heros". So how to make a cute outfit. Mommy was going to make me a cape but it was too hot! So I got a bat girl shirt and we added a little bling! Those are sequins around my waist.

I have also found a new friend. Curious George!! Mommy has started recording him and I get to watch him in the afternoons! He decided to go to church with us today.

Don't get me wrong Cottontail is still my main squeeze and he went with us as well.

And I still LOVE Mickey. The other night we were saying our prayers. We blessed the usuals and Mommy asked if there was anyone else we wanted God to take care of. I thought for a minute and promptly answered "Mickey".

What do you think about my fascinator! Mommy made this one as well- she got kind of obsessed there for a while making these headbands.

Papa Charlie and Deb came to visit this weekend. We swam on Saturday afternoon and then I had to show them my golf skills after dinner Sunday night.

If I am going to be playing golf I am going to have to get some more appropriate clothes. I don't think thos LPGA ladies wear crocs and zebra dresses.
