Happy Thanksgiving 2010!

Since we put up our Christmas tree last weekend, Mommy is in full decoration mode. We stopped by a local decorating store on our way home Monday. I spied this enourmous ice cream cone ornament, since it was rather pricey Mommy decided to look for the "smaller" version. We did find it and they also had cupcakes too, that satisfied me and Mommy thought all was good. Until I told her to "put em back" - meaning the small ornaments- she did and then I exclaimed "I want da big one!" Well of course, I love big bows, big tutus, big pumpkins and big ice cream cone ornaments! This was a attempt at getting a turkey shirt picture!

Well the big day arrived and we traveled to my Granny's house. I couldn't wait to get upstairs to see "Toodles"- I took him for a little ride.

We had some surprise guests in attendance, Mommy's cousin Mandy and family came in, she has two little girls, Elin and Grace. Elin was really sweet and tried to play with me. I was kind of on my own though.

Finally time to eat and I sat at the kid's table, by myself. Not sure what Mya is noticing but I think it is good!

Since the big kids did this.....I must too!

Another photo on the stairs with Grace and Elin...not too thrilled!

Yeah same here...she was really sweet!

Later that night "the girls" went to see Tangled. It was my first movie in a theater, I loved it! I especially loved the popcorn, I ate the whole kid's pack!

And after the movie you know Mommy and her cousins wanted pictures! Here I am with Rayna. I think for our next picture we should change the background scenery!

This is pretty much how picture taking went with four girls- I think Reese had ran off by this point.
It was pouring down rain outside (hence the hair). Mommy was at least looking at the camera.

But we had to get home and get in bed, because we had big shopping plans for Black Friday. When we woke up it had snowed..not on the roads but it was on the cars. Mommy and Mimi we very apprehensive about how this shopping trip would go. I think I heard Mommy saying "we won't see these people again, just as long as she doesn't break something". But I did very good!! I waited patiently while Mommy and Mimi shopped. We went to 4 stores in downtown Campbellsville!

As a reward for not being "Naughty" we went to a coffee shop and got a chocolate muffin and chocolate milk! Yummy!

Saturday arrived and we headed home. Here we are packing up!

For some reason playing with Granny's door has always facinated me!
A good shot of the outfit, yes we are in full Christmas attire mode! Mommy has been busy stitching away!

While Mommy and Mimi were packing the car, I got to run around outside a little.

On our way home we stopped at Cracker Barrel- my favorite part are the rockers outside! I like to get all of them rocking!

Earlier this year, after breaking out the Halloween cape, Mommy wanted to make me a Christmas cape- Mimi talked her out of it...that is until Wednesday night when Mimi decided I needed a Christmas cape. Mommy picked out some material from her stash and took it to Granny's to cut out and start on it. She got a chance to work on it Friday afternoon while I napped. Then again to work on sewing on it after I went to bed. So here it is the Christmas cape.

It went perfect with my pink Christmas dress for Sunday!

When you are 2!

When you are 2 you can get away with murder...you can go to the mall with Mommy and throw and awful fit one minute then be as cute as can be the next minute and all is forgiven. She can want to pinch my head off one minute and eat me up another! That is all the fun of being "terrible two".
I still LOVE gymnastics but my leotard was getting small so Mommy ordered me another one, this one is turq and green. I have the warm up suit to match - maybe we will do some new gym pictures soon.

Friday we brought back UK wear. I couldn't believe the game came on so late!Too late for me to stay up and watch!
We may be jumping the gun a little, but Mommy and Daddy put up the Christmas tree, and I helped.
My favorite part was the lights! I liked the blue and red ones the best. I had a hard time letting go of them long enough to go on the tree.
Since it is colder outside, I will be posing with Christmas tree!
I can't wait to see some presents underneath!

Since it was the Sunday before Thanksgiving I wore my turkeys to church.

I had a turkey in my hair and one on my dress.
Every year there is an ornament that I love and always get off the tree.
Last it was wooden toy bear that could not be broken. This year it is this breakable dog.

His legs move and he has on a Santa hat, he also has a very thin tail and long nose that make Mommy very nervous when I want to carry him around the house. I do put him back but I must take him off too. I have a feeling he will be in most Sunday pictures!
Since I had not had a nap and had thrown several fits during the day, we decided to go eat pizza! The best part about pizza is games and I like this car one. I like to shift the gears, push all the buttons and drive like a maniac!! Wonder where I learned that...

I wuv it!

"I wuv bridges", "I wuv Granny's house" and "I wuv Christmas (new Mickey movie about Christmas)". That is just a few things I have been "wuving" this week! Mommy loves this outfit below. And this one too. I had my Christmas pictures done this weekend but we only did one outfit- I was too interested in turning flips, jumping, running or crawling up the wall to bother with posing. We had this outfit for a later picture but never got too it. We ended up going for pizza after the pictures then the mall for Christmas shopping- there I flipped my stroller backwards by trying to stand up and get out. Just a relaxing Saturday shopping with Mommy!
Since Veteran's Day was this week - we were patriotic for Sunday morning. Then we went to Texas Roadhouse, the music outside made me want to dance, right on top of the benches...Never a dull moment!

Whew!! A jammed packed week!

I have had a very full social calendar this week. First on Monday was the annual CDC fall festival. It is usually before Halloween so I get to sport a Halloween outfit, however this year it was the day after. What is a girl to wear?? Nothing says fall like brown cord...and throw in a few colorful owls...there you go. They had chili, hot dogs and my favorite...brownies!
There was face painting..

And a petting zoo. I loved it the most.

I visited it two times, notice who is in there with me. Daddy! Mommy opted to be the picture taker, outside of the fence.

There was also a clown doing balloon animals, this is my bee. I had to wait a long time for this one. Then comes Tuesday..election day! Did you vote? I can't yet but I did want to "color the boxes" too. Of course I had an election day outfit!

Then Wednesday church. Mommy dressed me in zebra, complete with 80's hair band style leggings and boots. All I need is a guitar. Oh yes the M&M's were used for picture bribery.

Saturday we we braved the cold and headed to the park to pick up acorns for the "squills". Went down the big slide backwards.

And visited the ducks! Oddly enough we were the only ones there, guess it was too cold for others.

It was near my nap time and I had done lots of running so I took a little rest.
Then off to DQ for ICECREAM!
Sunday morning we headed to church. Not before a couple of quick pictures though. These poor mums have been picked and sprinkled everywhere. We left church a bit early to change and hit the road to Nashville, I of course took full advantage and slept the whole way there.

We went to Mommy and Daddy's favorite restaurant, Demos'. They visited it lots of times when they were working toward getting me. And I might add the spagetti was "deeelicious, I wuv it".
Then off to the real reason we traveled here! Disney live!

I really love Mickey and my favorite is still Goofy. I enjoyed the show but would not get out of Mommy's lap- I am a little skidish in new situations. At the end of the show all this confetti came down from the sky- I loved it!I especially loved putting it on Daddy's head.
Now after the show was finished I went wild climbing, jumping and running on chairs. I just need time to get warmed up. And I had a special Minnie outfit for the occasion too- this is the best picture Mommy could get...did I mention I was really clingy that day?
Since we had a late night getting home, Mommy took off work and what do you do on a pretty fall day? Go feed the ducks of course. This time we came prepared with food.

Everytime they would quack I would run over to them to give them some food. Here ducky ducky!

I also did my fair share of sliding.

And so did Daddy! Again only something that can be done when you have the park to yourself!

It was "wonderful"...my newest word.

I also did some acorn digging too.

Daddy even showed me how to throw rocks in the water.

But all that was really hard work....hey maybe we can go get ice cream!
