Is it still the same week???

Let me set the scene: Monday- the floors at home are still not done and Mommy and Daddy are off to try and find someone to fix them, but they drop me off at school first. Mommy notices the sign on the door that tomorrow- Tuesday is Fairy Princess Day- knowing that she does not have time to find an outfit, and that I am too young to realize, she decides not to participate. Well, on my way to class one of teachers makes this statement "Ann Marie, I can't wait to see you tomorrow"- the result: this outfit- put together in record time!! Here I am showing off my new floors!! Yes they are finished now- we just have the Mommy and Daddy's bedroom to go!!Like most days we had to stop at Walmart before going home!! Being a Fairy Princess is hard work, I think I will just lean back and enjoy the ride!! You can see I am taking advantage of the new pillows Mommy was buying for the couch.Because of the flooring our garage is like a workshop so Mommy has had to park outside, here I am ready for school and look who will join me today- Mr Rabbit!!

Is it crazy to take a camera to the doctor's office? If so, my Mommy is that- but she says the lighting is just perfect and what better way to waste time then posing for pictures. I had to get my ears checked on Thursday- here are my latest photos complements for the doctor's studio!!I am sure it will come as no surprise that the big bow got a lot of attention!! Even Dr Chaney liked it- he said I should have my picture taken in this outfit...little did he know...

After my appointment it was off to the Quilt Show, my first annual in fact. Well, I guess I did go last year but I was in Mommy's tummy and she was trying to walk me out. Anyway here I am ready to face all those crazy quilters!!

Mommy's college roommate and her Mom were here for the quilt show so we meet them and walked around. Here I am with Aunt Kim.And Aunt Petie- it was fun to see them and I love them so!!


Sorry, there are no Sunday pictures I was unable to go to church, I must have caught something from the quilters because I went back to the doctor on Friday after I got kicked out of school for a temperature. I caught a sore throat and was quarantined to the house the rest of the weekend. Boy this will really throw off the dress rotation!!

11 Months!!

Well, I am 11 months old this week!! Sorry no picture with Booger Bear- Mommy and Daddy are in the midst of a big project!! More on that below. The things I can do this month:

I can stand on my own- put still prefer crawling
I am getting used to the sippy cup- I prefer the ugly green one- but of course it matches my passie.
I have a total of 6 teeth, three on top and three on bottom.
I am also babbling lots!!

This is one of my new spring outfits, Mommy loved it so we had to get a picture. Below is why I stayed with Mimi and Poppy all weekend. I had a great time but Mommy and Daddy did not. For some reason they thought they could put down flooring. If you know my Mommy and Daddy they are not "weekend warriors". Anyway the progress is stalled until on big problem is fixed. Here is where it is, I am confined to my room or this stripe of flooring.

This is the big mess- it requires someone with skills!! To be continued, I sure will be glad to have the run of the house again!!

Another first this week- I got a green slip (child incident report) at school. This is what it read:

"She was playing with another child and they started fighting over a toy and the other child scratched her on her forehead right above her right eyebrow. I loved her and cleaned it."

All I got to say is you should have seen the other kid!!

I am also loving to stick out my tongue!! Got to get those last crumbs!!

Hoppy Easter

Look what the Easter Bunny brought me!! A basket full of goodies!! There was a stuffed bunny, bubbles, Peeps, books, pajamas and my favorite Easter grass!!This is the best picture I would let Mommy get at church. You can see I have on my Easter bonnet and white shoes (yes, it is now safe to wear those).I usually don't make it through the entire service, I end up in the nursery playing with my buddies. Here I am just trying to see what Keeley and Mariah are so interested in.

Oh the dress, well it is hard to crawl in a long dress, so Mommy tucked it in my bloomers. I could really move then.It is such work being cute. I have to nap before my next Easter adventure.

After church we meet some friends at Lake Barkley Lodge for lunch. The last time we saw them I was in Mommy's belly- so it was treat to meet them for the first time. Here I am with Linda. I was the hit of the restaurant, a stranger asked to hold me and a worker took my picture with his phone. You would think they had never seen a baby with feathers and a bunny cape.
Here I am with Poppy, I got passed around a lot- just trying to keep me busy.

Ok so Mimi cut Mommy's head off, but this is a good picture of the cape.

When I got home I discovered the Easter bunny brought me something at Mimi and Poppy's house too. Here was my loot, a duck, books, puffs and socks.

I am really testing the waters to see how I can balance on my own. If I don't think about it I can stand by myself.

Even though Easter is over I still love playing with my Eggs, I pick one out and Mommy tells me the color.

And here I am getting ready for bed. Isn't this just the sweetest face ever..

Egg Coloring- A New Tradition

It just wouldn't be Easter without dying eggs!! So as soon as the dye hit the stores Mommy got us some. Daddy wasn't on board at first...obviously he has never been to Granny's....But before egg dying season came around, so did he and we all joined the fun. I must admit Mommy had to do a little Eggucateing him. Actually, I think Mommy and Daddy enjoyed it the most. The eggs are in, now we wait.

Wonder if Mommy and Daddy will notice if I take Sydney's bowl? They are awfully busy watching the eggs.

Still waiting....just how long does it take??

Silly Days!!

I have gotten really silly over the last couple of weeks!! I have discovered how fun it is to jump in my bed, then fall down!! Here I am giggling at Mommy!! She is silly too. But some mornings I just can't get going!! Even after I am ready to go, I just can't do it!! Maybe too much late night jumping...

Ms Pat gave me an early Easter present. There was a book, a toy (which I love), puffs and some crocheted socks (which Mommy loves).

I totally got the hang of opening presents!!

Here I am in my preEaster outfit. Mommy made the shirt and Mimi made the pants. You know I have to be styling for school!!

Remember the St Patrick's Day outfit, well here it is reversed. Yes, same outfit only it reverses to a Spring look...pretty smart...thanks Mimi!!Here I am before school with my blinged out bunny tee. Mommy added the bunny so I would look extra cute!! Got to be festive. Saturday Mommy, Daddy and I decided to go out and run some errands. Actually they were looking for flooring and I was just along to look cute!! More on the flooring in future posts. I had to wear my bunny bow before its too late!!
I am so ready to go...who are we waiting on??
Here we are at Lowe's looking at trees- we need some of those too- remember the Ice Storm??It got so sunny I had to break out my shades!! They don't match my shoes but they do match my cart cover.Tomorrow is the big Easter Egg hunt at church- Mommy and I were practicing!!

The big day has arrived, my first Easter Egg Hunt!! I, of course am dressed for the occasion- and yes those are feathers in my hair, not a bow. Look at these eggs!! Bet they will be easy to find. Peter Cottontail even showed up!! I liked him a lot- I wasn't afraid at all!!

Look I found an orange egg- it matches Daddy's shirt!! Got to get it in the basket before the big kids find it!!

Oh boy, a purple one too!! Wait!! What is this green stuff I am sitting in. I am really not sure I like this- I must take after Mommy!!

Where is the candy?? I thought you were supposed to eat eggs!!As Bugs Bunny would say "That's All Folks!!"
