Happy Memorial Day and Trampoline redo..

For my birthday Mommy and Daddy bought me a trampoline. It had been sitting on the front porch for two weeks waiting to be assembled.

After church last week Mommy decided it would be good day for Daddy and Poppy to put it up! It took them 3 hours to get it all set up! I was so excited!!! Mommy and I jumped and jumped!

We all talked about how we could stake it down but decided to do that later. That night huge storms came through and even though Daddy had tied it to the deck it riped the cords and sent my trampoline tumbling next to the house.

Daddy went outside during the storm with his yellow rain coat and rain boots and held it so it wouldn't blow away. He looked like the men from Deadlist Catch. Needless to say it had to be taken down- Mommy was ready to get rid of it because it looked horrible on Monday morning. Poppy came up and with Daddy's help took it down to the frame. Big storms came through again later that week and the frame stayed there.

On Saturday we went to see a movie- Kung Fu Panda- I like the popcorn the best.

This was really a picture just to get my outfit. Mommy made it last year and it reminds her of the Harlem Globetrotters.

We also went to Olive Garden before the movie. My favorite food right now is pizza or spagetti.

Sunday I continued on with the red, white and blue in celebration for Memorial Day. Since it is really sunny on the front porch before church it is hard to get a smiling picture. We could go on the deck but then I will want to get in my playhouse and there is no time before church.
My hair is finally long enough for a ponytail!

After church Mimi and Poppy came up and Daddy and Poppy put up the trampoline again. This time with stakes and tie downs. So we are back in business.

While they were working I was playing in my swimming pool. Isn't summer great!!

Happy Birthday to me! I'm Three

I turned three on Monday! If you ask me hold old I am I will reply "all of them". This is because I can't figure out how to do my fingers to make three. Mommy took off on Monday and we did a "friend" birthday party at YaYa's.

Of course we had to get pictures before we left.

I was really excited to go and working on no nap for the day.

When we arrived at YaYa's I asked if we were going to Mason's party. I attended his party a couple of months ago at the same place.

When we got in I had to look for Mason. Because it was "Mason's party" not mine. We played and played. I had 5 friends and 2 older siblings show up. In attendance were: Mariah, Nathan, Mason, Davis and Abby.

I wasn't interested in eating or opening any of my presents. I actually waiting until the following day to open presents. We all wanted to play.

Mason cried to open my presents, and I didn't want to open them..how ironic.

The only thing we stopped for was to eat some candy.

I had a great time and didn't want to leave.

Mommy monogrammed beach towels and we added flip flops and sunglasses for party favors.

On the way home Mommy asked me if I enjoyed my birthday party, I said "Mason's birthday party"...Oh well!

On Saturday I went to Avery's birthday party. It was a princess party and we all got to pick out a princess costume to dress up. You know I had to pick "the blue one"- so Cinderella it was.

We also got to put on lipgloss and eye shadow. Here I am admiring myself. Yes, I know the bow doesn't match..but it did match my other outfit.

We all got princess crowns and had a tea party.
We had pink cupcakes and Sprite. This was my favorite part. The icing was great!

Here is a group picture of all the girls. Avery the birthday girl is in the middle.

Early Birthday!

It has been like summer this week. So I have been able to wear some of my new outfits. Mommy loved this one I wore to church so she had to get a picture.Even though she has a new camera which takes quicker pictures I still don't always cooperate. This weekend was my Birthday Weekend...we planned a family party for Saturday then my friend party is Monday. On Friday Mommy and Daddy took me to one of my favorite places...to feed the ducks!

Apparently it is also a favorite place for other school age kids too. A school bus with lots of big kids invaded the playground. It was very interesting. Mommy made me this 3 shirt..even though I won't be 3 until Monday.

I was so excited on Saturday for Mimi and Poppy to come up and celebrate. We put out my yard stakes.

I do love balloons!

It had been so hot but turned out really chilly this weekend. So goes the weather in KY.

We fried fish and had cupcakes! Yummy!

I was able to blow out all the candles. Did you notice my shirt and tablecloth match? Swanky!

The icing was the best part!

Next it is time open presents!

I had all kinds of gift bags. Some of the bags had multiple things in it. I only would get out one thing. I most of the time left the clothes or pajamas in the bag. I think my favorite gifts I got to open where the Mickey Mouse car from the Dollar Store and 5 rubber ducks Mommy got me from Walmart.

Daddy got me some golf clubs. He said something about getting a scholarship...

Then we went outside to find my big present! A trampoline! Too bad it was too yucky to set it up. Guess I will have to wait until next weekend for that one.

Happy Mother's Day 2011!

Happy Mother's Day- I got to spend the day with my two favorite Mothers...Mommy and Mimi. We got a quick picture after church. Notice Mommy's "fascinator"...she was jealous that I always got to wear a flower so she bought herself one too. I think she was inspired by the Royal Wedding or perhaps the Derby. Finally we are having some summer weather!

And no rain. A lot of the area has been flooded. Luckily we are on high ground and have not had any flooding. It is worse than the flood of 1937. Back then they didn't have a wall or levees so they were more devastated. Thank goodness for those engineers who built those things.

Poppy had to sneak a picture....hey I think your day is in June.

I also got to help Mimi open her presents. She got a pretty bracelet and pajamas.

Mommy got pajamas and "Dexter" the first season. She wanted to join the bandwagon and see what it was all about. However, I think I will have to be in bed before she watches it...I think it is scary!

I LOVE MOM!! Of course I had to have a cute shirt for the day!!!

Me and Dawn Marie. When Mommy was little a lady down the street, Dava Doyen, made these dolls. She wanted one so bad and finally she got one. She is named Dawn Marie. Mommy found her the other day at Mimi's and gussied her up a bit. She added a UK dress and we are buddies...actually she has been in my room a while but when Mommy changed her into a UK dress I used to wear, she became more interesting! Hey what can I say...I bleed blue!
