Short Week

This was a short week because I was visiting my Granny last week and it spilled over into this week plus it rained at the beginning of the week- so not a lot of picture opportunties. I am really on the go these days so it is hard to catch me to get a picture, plus I am loving outside...so many things to explore. BUT we did do a mini photo session this week. Mommy got an email that if she sends in a picture of me in a Bella Bliss outfit (store she loves) then she gets 20% off an order and since fall is coming... here are a few we took. Which one do ya'll like?I am a total KY girl barefeet in the grass. I didn't have on shoes because a photographer told Mommy bare feet make a better picture - the bottom of shoes are ugly. The original thought was to take one in the rocker so hence no shoes. Here I am holding court...I have lots to say these days. Mommy and Daddy celebrated their anniversary Saturday- 11 years. They went to Nashville and I spent the day with Mimi. We tried to go to the park but it was too full (softball tournament) and ended up at DQ for ice cream. So Sunday Mommy and Daddy took me to the park and guess what- we ended up at DQ too. This is becoming a habit!! But a good one if you ask me.

Daddy did his duty and got on the swings with me- Mommy doesn't think that compares to her sliding down the slide with me last week. She was behind the camera today. We also looked at the ducks. There were lots!!After a long day it was time for bath and bed. I like to catch up on my reading in the bath.

I thought it was July!!! It is Cold!!

I can't believe it is July..we have had a cool spell around here and boy has it been nice. I am loving the outside these days- after work Mommy and I walk around the house to assess anything that needs to be done. These people around here- they can never get this chain put up. I am loving on my "Wee Cottontail" and guess what??, when I got home Thursday there was 2 more "Wee Cottontails"- Daddy found some more!! Now I have a back up and a back up!!

I really wish this thing would rock faster!!

Saturday morning Mommy, Mimi (or as I am calling her these days "Baa Baa") and I went to my Granny's house. I had fun checking out all the new things at Granny's, last time I was here I couldn't walk, so now I am able to get the the things I could only see before.

Mommy brought my green pod to use when I eat. I haven't seen this thing in about 6 months- boy have I missed it!! I loved trying to sit in it by myself.

Sunday and off to Granny's church. As promised here is the dress that inspired the hat. Here I am posing. Does anyone recognize the chair? It's the fun makeup stool from Granny's bathroom- it has been around for a LONG time.

And of course a piano recital before we go. The upstairs at Granny's sure is fun!!

Sunday afternoon we went to Mya's birthday party. Whoo Hoo that was fun. It was ladybug themed- here are the cute cupcakes.Mya and her Mommy opening presents. Notice she has on a ladybug outfit and flower. Of course she does- it does run in the family.

It was fun to admire Mya's presents after she opened them. While she was busy reading cards, Reese and I checked out her gifts. (I crunched down in the corner)
The party was at the park - playground here I come.
I got to swing!!

Slide!! With a little help from Riley and Reese.

And if I could only get my foot over this seat I would ride this too.

Everybody was at the party- I am enjoying some time with Shelby. She was Mommy's first 2nd cousin.

But I had lots of territory to cover so I couldn't stop long. It actually was cool- I am now sporting my jacket. Now since it was ladybug themed, Mommy found it necessary to dress me in ladybugs. Notice my head band, it was special for the occasion. I also have ladybugs on my bloomers and tank.

Ahh Granny time!! I love my Granny!!What would a party be without cake and ice cream!! MmmmmmmAfter the party we went to a cookout. I am enjoying some fun in a real high tech toy. I think they call it a box...

We didn't leave until Monday but I had so many requests I had to do an encore concert. This time it was with a fancy piano. But it is upstairs too. That is where all the fun things are.
Before we left Mommy had me posing for pictures- hard to believe right. She is going to enter this outfit in a contest and needed some shots of the whole outfit.

We switched it to the opposite side. I am enjoying the flowers too. Somehow Christmas ornaments and flowers don't go together. Oh well. Then we loaded the car and were on our way. We had to stop in Eddyville for a little rest and ice cream.. I was getting bored.
Are we there yet???How much longer?

Here I am playing some tunes..

Me and the Poster Board- another high tech toy.

Grumpy Grumpy Grumpy!!

I have been very grumpy this week so not much picture taking going on. I did let Mommy take a snapshot of my watermelon outfit. Isn't this fun- Melissa brought me this outfit to the hospital when I was born.Jump to Sunday. I really didn't want to sit in my normal picture chair. I did however, want to stand.

Here I am with my friend "Wee Cottontail" he travels with us now. I am also rolling this cow bug, I loved it in the store but when Mommy brought it home- I wasn't really that interested.

I am practicing my runway walk. This outfit came from Bella Bliss- there is a store in Lexington and they have the greatest sales. Hum.... she will be going in October wonder if she will bring me back something??

After church we went to eat. Oh, I have learned something new this week- to clap!! Good thing too, just in time for football season. I do need to practice some cheers. I also LOVED our waiter too- I would have probably gone home with him. I am crazy about the men these days- although my taste has gotten better- I now prefer younger men instead of old scrappy ones.
I can now hike my leg over to ride my car, only I prefer to sit backwards. When I do this the music continuely plays because I am sitting on the button.
Notice the red barrette- yes very retro...it was my Mommy's when she was little. Guess they didn't have big bows back then.

My Mommy is going hat crazy again, here is her latest knit creation.

And here is the latest sewing creation. Lots of flowers and crystals too (I had to have some bling). There is a dress to match. Maybe I will stand still long enough for a picture of the whole outfit.I really don't mind wearing it. I am real used to things on my head, even if it is a garden.
Here I am in action. I just can't figure out why the music keeps playing.

Little Miss Independent

I know you will find this hard to believe but this week I have been rockin the red/white and blue. Yes, all week long! Monday and I am so happy to be going to school.I said lets go...we are going to be late...and where is Wee Cottontail?Towards the end of the week I was much better!! Mommy told me it was a short week.On Friday Mommy, Mimi and I went to Patti's to walk around. I have discovered that if I yell really loud in a store I can get something...and if I chew on it- it is mine. Hence- the lion you see in my stroller.
I even got practice riding a horse, Derby here I come!!After a long day of walking and visiting it was time for a treat!! Ice Cream!! Maybe next time I can get a pork chop.Oh another thing Mommy discovered at Patti's- a photographer- here are a couple of pics I had done.

July 4th!! My second one!! Go USA!!Since it has been so hot here lately- the only place to keep cool is the refrigerator. It makes a real good seat!!My bedtime is before dark, so no fireworks for me this year, but Daddy did light some sparklers, you can see I am real thrilled.I thought it would be fun to post a couple of pics of me from last year!! You can see I learned to yell at an early age.Sunday and I am ready for church, come on!! I don't have time to wait around much these days.I am at the door ready to leave - what is taking so long?
The new and improved Gattiland is open, we all went to check it out. I think the games are in here.

We drove the car.

Played basketball.

Played skeeball.

And booped the gators. I think they were Florida gators...Go CATS!! Just had to put that in. I think Daddy had as much fun as me. He was awful excited about all the tickets.

Finally - as promised Mommy finished the outfit to match my hat. Here it is, maybe I will model it sometime this week.
The top reverses to a Christmas ornament...yes it is July, but never too early to think about Santa.
