Granny's Birthday and Easter 2013

Last weekend we went to my Granny's 90th birthday party.  My Granny was so excited and so was I.  Mommy made me this special outfit...here is the best we could do with pictures!

 This weekend was Easter!  I had a ton of egg hunts this week at school and I racked up on the candy and eggs!  Then on Sunday morning the Easter Bunny left my basket on the porch!!  Oh and I slept in sponge rollers to have extra special hair for church!

 And here are my curls and a new bunny "Sparkles".

 Yea for Easter we can wear white!!  Bring on the seersucker!

Painting Cottontail

 This week end Mommy took me to Creative Canvas in Murray.  Mommy had been a couple of weeks before and painted a picture.  She thought I might like to go sometime for Kids Day.  They ended up having an open day but I got to paint a bunny.  Kind of like Cottontail.  I however decided to make him a brown bunny instead of white.  I had to really concentrate to get it right.

This is my finished product!  I really think my favorite part was the big bowl of suckers on the table!  Of course I had to add flair to bunnies scarf!

 And this week I wanted my hair to be "zig zag".  Because we didn't have any rollers Mommy rolled my hair in socks.  Here I am rolled in socks!

 Here is the result.  Not as curly or zig zag as I wanted.  We will try again letting my hair dry more and more socks.

The TRAIN!!

Last year we went to the Railroad Museum and rode the train!  We did it again this year!  The little train plays loud 80's music and you ride it around the Carson Center and back to the museum.  Then after a train ride we went in the museum to get a look at the model trains.  This year we rode the train 3 times and I got to ride right next to the conductor.  He said it was a special seat!  

 After the train we went to the park.  This is Mommy trying to get a cute picture beside the tree!  I just wanted to hide.

A little obsessive!!

This week we went to the library to celebrate Dr Suess.  So I had to break out one of my Suess outfits.  Mommy even made me a special headband this year...well actually she made it really quick that morning by cutting the top off an existing hat and sewing on the flower she already had made..

 Then on Thursday we went back to the library to see Scooby Doo.  Well I can't see Scooby without the perfect outfit.  Mommy went to Walmart in search of Scooby Doo shirt or Scooby Doo fabric.  Of course you can't find it when you need it so she ended up getting Scooby Doo boy pajamas and cutting up the shirt to make me a cuter, girlier shirt and then cutting up the pants to make me a headband.  I know no one else will have this outfit :)

 And then UK played this week and although they aren't as good this year as last year they are still my team. Here I am with Mariah sporting out big blue!  Wouldn't it be cute to see us in 13 more years sporting our big blue at a basketball game!!
