Easter Egg Hunt

Well, it has been a sad weekend for our household. Saturday started out normal- Mommy and I getting ready to go buy some Easter shoes and socks dressed in our blue of course. Then Mommy ended up getting sick and having to make a racing trip to Prime Care then the pharmacy. We didn't get to go shoe shopping but I did get to ride around in Walmart with Mimi.To top that off, my CATS lost!! I couldn't believe it when Mommy told me on Sunday morning....guess I will retire my blue until September.After the shock it was onto bigger things, the Easter Egg hunt at church. I got all dolled up from front.To back. Grabbed my basket and away we went.I really didn't want to pick up any eggs. That is the sign of a true princess having others pick up eggs for you.

When I finally allowed anyone to put eggs in my basket.

I sure didn't want anyone to get them out. I must guard these things.

When everyone else was checking there eggs, I was posing for the camera.

I did let Keely check out some of my eggs.

But when I discovered there was candy in there, I kind of decided to like it. It is nice to have a basket that doubles as a pillow.

After hunting we had pizza...now that is my speed!

Lucky Week!

This week was St Patrick's Day so I had to break out my green for the first part of the week, then switch to Blue for the last part of the week.The weather was nicer this week so we got to go outside when we got home.Tuesday we made Leprechaun ears- I wore them out of school and then again when I got home.I can really hear with these ears.

My outfit has Leprechauns on it too, even though I called them Mickeys. I wore this outfit last year so Mommy moved the buttons down and we got another year out of it.This was my St Pat's day outfit this year. When Mommy made it she made it too big so you will probably see it again next year and maybe the next!I keep knocking on the garage door, I think there might be Lephrechauns in there.They are probably dancing like this!

Thursday the CATS played and since I had just wore my blue and white outfit last Friday, Mommy felt the need to make me a new one.I had my UK blanket, my pom pom and blue paci. I must have worked because they won!
Saturday was another big game day so the whole family decked out in blue.

I even broke out the dog ears for the occasion!

Everywhere we went people were sure who I would be rooting for!

Sunday we had to start wearing Easter stuff. Mommy made this one.
Even though I am almost two I still would like to be in the jumperoo at church.
And I still fit.

Mommy was gone all week so there aren't many pictures but she got back just in time for a really important part of the year! March Madness and today was Game Day! I am ready got my UK dress on, got a pom pom on my head and one in my hand.Don't forget to include my lucky blanket and Minnie! I am so excited I think I will break out in song! On On U of K!!

Mini Vacation

Mommy was in Lousiville for most of the week and Daddy had to work all last week, so I had a little mini vacation and got to stay with Mimi and Poppy. They took me to school in the morning and picked me up in the afternoon. I had a great time but I was happy to see Mommy and Daddy on Thursday night. On Friday we all went to Mr Gatti's - I love piza....And playing the games.I just can't figure out where all those balls come from...But if I really stretch maybe I can reach some more!Look at all my tickets! I ended up with 50 tickets. With those I was able to get a small plastic fish. Boy what a treasure!

Sunday was a real Spring day, it was finally warm and sunny!

You can see in this picture I am holding one of the presents Mommy brought me back from Louisville...no it isn't a cardinal...it is Minnie Mouse.

I really like Mickey and Minnie! I asked to watch either Mickey or Goofy at night. Of course Minnie is my favorite, we have the whole bow thing in common.

After church we went to eat lunch, here I am walking....I mean squeaking, in with Poppy. I had to turn around and make sure everyone was coming.After church, lunch and a nap - I got to do one of my favorite things...rock collecting!
